Echocardiogram

At Perak Community Specialist Hospital (PCSH), our Cardiologist or Physician uses Echocardiogram (Echo) to assess the overall function of the heart, determine the existence of any heart disease of a patient. This is a type of ultrasound diagnostic test which is an effective and non-invasive way for our Cardiologist or Physician. This test is able to capture the movement of your heart, giving the doctor a visual presentation of the organ’s structure, size and movement, which enable doctors to have invaluable insight into their patients’ cardiac condition and ensure the right treatment is given.
