The Perak Community Specialist Hospital Executive Management Committee is led by its Chief Executive Officer and its member consist of Senior Managers heading various divisions of the hospital.


Rajindar Singh - Chief Executive Officer
Rajindar Singh joined us in March 2010 as the Chief Executive Officer of Perak Community Specialist Hospital.

Rajindar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology from Punjabi University, Patiala, India as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Cross University, Australia and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Law from Northumbria University, UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (UK) and Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Services Management. He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executive and life member of the Medico-Legal Society of Malaysia.

Prior to the hospital services industry, Rajindar has spent more than 18 years in the corporate sector with European and American multi-national companies in the medical devices, medical equipments and pharmaceutical industry in the Asia Pacific Region.

Matron Yap – Division Manager (Nursing Services)
Yap Poh Yoong joined us in 2006 as the Matron of Perak Community Specialist Hospital.

Matron Yap comes with over 39 years of nursing experience. She graduated from King Edward Memorial Hospital, London and did her post basic in Midwifery in St Mary’s Hospital, London. She also has been a Renal Sister with 13 years of renal experience behind her. She was previously working with KPJ Group of Hospitals for 11 years in the capacity both as staff nurse and thereafter promoted as Ward Sister.

In PCSH, she oversees the entire operations of the Nursing Division and ensures quality and personalized nursing services are delivered to all the patients in the hospital.

Sazali bin Shaari – Division Manager (Administration & Services)
Sazali Bin Shaari joined us in January 2010 as a Division Manager (Administration & Services) of Perak Community Specialist Hospital.

Sazali holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (major in Human Resource Management) from Mara University of Technology (UiTM) and a Diploma in Public Administration from the same university.

He has 17 years of experience in Human Resource Management and Administration. His experience include employment with Multinational Corporation and local companies in the manufacturing sector.

Alice Chee – Division Manager (Finance & Supply Chain)
Alice Chee joined us in 2011 as a Division Manager (Finance & Supply Chain) of Perak Community Specialist Hospital.

Alice is a Chartered Accountant of Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom. She has 16 years of working experience in trading, construction and education industry before joining us in the healthcare industry.

In Perak Community Specialist Hospital, she oversees the operations of finance and supply chain including front office operations up to back office support for purchasing, finance and pharmaceutical services.

Choon Kok Hoo – Division Manager (Biomedical, Facilities & Maintenance)
Choon Kok Hoo joined us in 2010 as a Division Manager (Biomedical, Facilities & Maintenance) of Perak Community Specialist Hospital.

Choon graduated from University of Sunderland (UK) and majored in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He is an Associate Member of Board of Engineers (BEM); The Institution of Engineers (IEM) and Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE). He is privileged as a surveyor for the Malaysian Society for Quality In Health.

Choon has spent some 16 years in the hospital industry mainly specializing in biomedical and facility management. Some of the companies he has served are Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (Abu Dhabi), Prince Court Medical Centre, Pantai Hospital and government hospitals such as Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Penang General Hospital and Hospital Slim River.

The Perak Community Specialist Hospital is always actively promoting health awareness to the public by engaging the community through various channels. This effort is championed by the Business Development Department. Every week, this department leads the way to extend the hospital’s community services including Health Talks by specialists, Complementary Basic Health Checking, Dietitian Counseling, etc. to the corporates, government agencies, as well as public places such as shopping malls and community town halls.
